SWalkshofer I like snowmen. Well, this is not unusual. But why I like them might surprise you. For me, they are a stong symbol of poetry and creative energy. Little starlike snowflakes falling from the sky, sticking, melting together to become one form.
Ich mag Schneemänner. Nun, das ist nichts Ungewöhnliches. Warum ich sie mag, wird dich vielleicht überraschen. Für mich sind sie starke Symbole der Poetik und der kreativen Energie. Kleine, sternenähnliche Schneeflocken fallen vom Himmel, haften aneinander, schmelzen zusammen, um eine Form zu werden.
With a snowman you are able to fly. He can bring you to Santa if you wish. And he will get you savely to your parents house at the end of night.
Mit einem Schneeman kannst du fliegen. Er kann Dich zu Santa bringen, wenn du das möchtest. Und er begleitet dich sicher zurück zum Haus Deiner Eltern am Ende der Nacht.
This is beautifully shown in the animated cartoon „The Snowman“, based on the picture book of the British author and illustrator Raymond Briggs, with its wonderful song „Walking in the Air“ by Howard Blake – one of my all time favourites. Music can bring back lost memories and feelings. And this song did.
Das wird wunderschön dargestellt im Zeichentrickfilm „Der Schneemann“, basierend auf dem Bilderbuch des britischen Autors und Illustrators Raymond Briggs, mit seinem traumhaften Lied „Walking in the Air“ von Howard Blake – eines meiner liebsten Lieder. Musik kann verlorene Erinnerungen und Gefühle zurückbringen. Und dieser Song hat das getan.
